El Porvenir

Here is a picture of the newest addition to the missionary churches in Ciudad Juarez. This Angel is Jobita and Victor's grandson (leaders in El Porvenir) . He was born Feb. 17, 2012. His name is Angel Gomez Gonzales. His dad is Angel and Yanet ( wrote a blog about their wedding in January, I think?). Isn't he a cutie!

Jesus Carranza

Every month Jesus Carranza is collecting food to be given out to a family in need. This month the food bag was given to Magdaleno. Magdaleno is a single man who lives with his mother. He has been without a job for a while. At the job Magdaleno used to work at he would be paid $550 pesos ($50 dlls). Magdaleno had to quit his job because his mom got very ill. Thank God his mom is doing much better but now he is without a job. Magdaleno has not been able to find a job and is working selling cheese, cheese for quesadillas. He works for a man from Jesus Carranza under commission. He saids that he is earning more money selling cheese then working at the factory plant. We pray Magdaleno gets a steady job.

El Millon: Valentine's Weddings

Here are 3 couples from El Millon that got married on Feb. 14.

The first couples is Maria Luisa and Alejandro (First picture):

This couple had been living together 12 years and have 3 kids. Maria Luisa will be getting baptise on March 31.

The second couple is Leonardo and Maria ( Second picture, women in pink dress):

This couple had been living together 16 years with 7 children and 1 grandchild. Lots of you might recognize them. They are Estella's parents. Estella is doing much better and is starting to communicate.

The third couple is Blanca and Nicolas. (Last picture):

They have been living together for 10 years and have 3 children. Blanca will be baptise on March 31.
