Day 2: VBS Riveras

Today was such a great day. Kids came back with more energy and brought more friends. Today we had a total of 106 that participated in VBS. We also have 31 church members from Riveras, Jesus Carranza and El Millon. We are learning that we are all Prince and Princess of God! When we finished and got together to end in prayer, we asked who wanted to go home. Everyone yelled: "NO!"

We thank you for your prayers today we all woke up in great spirit and lots of energy too. We ask that you continue to pray for everyone that is working and participating in VBS. Also we have two youth boys, Victor Manuel (10) and Luis Felipe (10) that are a hands full. I had to speak to them twice today. These kids are the kids that everyone is afraid of. They said lots of bad words and hit other kids. At the end of the day I ask them before they left if they still liked me. They said yes, and asked my name. I said "Estella" jaja. I eventually told them my name.  Pray especially for them. They wouldn't even let me take pictures of them.

Enjoy the pictures!

getting ready to start!

KICK OFF TO VBS: RIVERAS

On the Sunday before we started VBS in Riveras a group of church members went to the street and invited kids to. We started a 5pm to prepare for our mini-parade. We decorated the van and truck, make lots of balloons to hand out. We had Brother Cande dress up as a clown and boy was he funny, every dog on the street didn't like him since he was blow a whistle at them. We started the parade from the Church  at 6pm and came back to church at 8:45pm. We all had a great time inviting. We had adults help and kids from church participated. We are off to a great start.
Riveras members rock!

Praying mexican style before we head out... even clowns pray too!

Clumpsy clown...drop all the event flyers!

Brother Cande doing one of many things he does well, but I think his strong is children. God uses him greatly!

In all the street, kids and adults would come out their house!

Adults were tired!! 2 and an half hours later!
